Meet Scott Sandall

In the Legislature - Fighting for Rural Utah


Scott Sandall has represented District 1 in the Utah Legislature since 2015 and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Business, Economic Development and Labor Appropriations sub-committee.

Rep Sandall also serves on two additional legislative committees:

  • Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment
  • Economic  Development and Workforce Services

Through his service, Sandall has substantively contributed to legislation affecting northern and rural Utah.

Professionally - A Box Elder Native

Sandall is the owner and operator of Sandall  Ranches, a 4th generation farm and ranch in Promontory Utah, as well as Sandall Trucking LLC and S&P Investments LLC.

Sandall has been active in the community serving as:

  • Box Elder County Farm Bureau President
  • Utah Farm Bureau State board member
  • Bear River High School community council
  • Scout Leader

Rep. Sandall has an agricultural economics degree from Brigham Young University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.


Personal Life - A Happy Family Man

Sandall is a Box Elder County native where he lives with his wife Christie. They are the proud parents of 4 children and a growing number of grandchildren.

In his (limited) free time, Scott enjoys family, work and golf.
